Only 3 hours from Singapore, Pulau Sibu is located within the Johor Marine Park, Malaysia.
The resort is nestled at the northern tip of the island and the natural bay offers a quiet and private setting where you can enjoy great diving and snorkeling, or relax on the beach with a good book whilst watching the sunset.
Sitting on a Kenyan style village, the resort offers 21 charming seafront chalets all within a stone’s throw away from their 350m private beach.
Due to its attractive location, the resort is the ideal place for a weekend getaway, family vacation or even a romantic beach wedding or team building corporate event. The possibilities are endless.
This resort offers more than two dozen dive sites, as well as the perfect training ground for beginner divers.
Our favourite sites are Lima Baser and Dolly which are a short boat ride away.
Jack Rock is about a 40 minute boat ride away and is dived when the tides dictate amazing viz.
The dive sites are known for their cuttlefish, turtles, blue spotted ribbontail rays, nudibranches, moray eels, abundant “fish nurseries” and soft and hard coral. The advantage of diving within a Marine Park ensures that local fisherman can not fish these sites.
For the ultimate relaxation treat after a day of diving or snorkeling, head to Bamboo Bliss – the resort’s very own spa. Whether you haven’t had time to get your nails done or you’re looking for a tranquil massage.
Not forgetting the resort’s restaurant which will exceed all expectations for a small, personal resort. The private mini-van service from Singapore also means you don’t need to drive or arrange your own transport.
Experience an island resort the way it should be with great diving too!
Do note that a Marine Park fee of MYR200 is payable upon arrival.
