The Dive Box Helios 800 Video Light is designed to be an easy to use, durable, rugged, light weight, portable video light in both recreational and exploration technical diving. It can be used as a high powered video light in both an open sea, or in an overhead environment, when you just want something that is powerful enough, yet without the hassle of a battery canister, with dangling E/O cords.
It is made from the high quality T-6061-T6 aluminium, that has really high specificiations when compared to other raw aluminium types. The housing is anondized black, therefore it is anti-corrosion. The Dive Box Helios 800 Video Light measure 40 x 32 x 142 mm, and weights 195 grams. It operates using 1 x Lithium 18650 battery.
The Dive Box Helios Light comes in a twist on twist off design, with no external on/off switch. This eliminates the need to drill into the hull, for a switch mechanism that weakens the integrity of the body structure. It uses a 3 O-Rings in the light head, enhancing the waterproofing capability as compared to other lights in the industry. The Dive Box Helios 800 Video Light is also waterproof up to 200 meters.
Dive Box Helios 800 Video Light powers up to 800 Lumens, on a single CREE XML2-U2 LED for up to 200 minutes of continous runtime. Knurlings at the light head are made to assure better grip even when using it with gloves. It also throws out a concentrated wide beam of 120 degrees. You can purchase video light mounts seperately if required.
