Garmin Descent™ MK1 is a modern powerful wrist dive computer that features advanced multi sport capabilities, colour TOPO mapping, and surface GPS. It is comes with all the features of Garmin popular land watches like the Garmin Fenix 5X.

The sleek watch design comes with a 1.2” bright colour display, with battery life up to 18 days in watch, 10 days in smart watch, 36 hours in dive, and 20 hours in GPS modes respectively.

Garmin Descent™ MK1 uses the proven Bühlmann ZHL-16c algorithm to make sure you stay within your dive limits. It also has the ability to plan dives for recreational, technical, and free diving. You can set the audible tone and vibration alarms, and it supports up to 6 different gas mixes, including Nitrox (up to 100% oxygen), and Trimix.

It also features Elevate™ wrist heart rate technology, with multi sport activity profiles, performance metric, and smart notifications. The Garmin Descent™ MK1 tracks your exertion levels, and uploads heat rate data automatically.

Having a GPS is an excellent option for divers, with Garmin being a market leader for marine vessels navigation devices. It also includes built in sensors like a 3 Axis compass, Gyroscope, and GLONASS capability that allows you to mark your dive entry and exit points for surface navigation. “Tap to Compass” features allows you too simply double tap the screen instead of pressing any buttons.
