Scuba Diving Classes – It was the last weekend of 2017! What better way to round up a fantastic year than having a full board of over 20 students and leisure divers spend the weekend with us! Weather and currents conditions may not be forgiving last weekend, but everyone had a great time nonetheless. Company is all it matters when we meet like-minded friends on board and bonding with new found friends. We even rounded up the year with a spectacular fireworks display on Seaborne to usher in 2018. Happy New Year everyone and we look forward to more of your support again in 2018!

Diving Classes – Beautiful skies. Wonderful viz of 10-15m. Great company. These are factors to make our weekend trip an awesome one with a full board of Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue students and leisure divers on board Seaborne. We dived around Batam and explored the Codd Wreck, a 100-year-old F & N steel vessel which sunk off the Riau Islands. We were amazed by the beautiful marine life as always, and spotted pufferfish, stingrays, squid, crocodile flatheads, cuttlefish, lots of nudibranch and more. A big thank you to all who joined us last weekend!

The Christmas weekend is coming up next and we are looking forward to spending a joyous time with our divers to celebrate our favourite season of the year! Very limited spots still available, if you wish to spend a special Christmas diving with us!

Basic Diving Courses Bintan – It was a truly memorable and fruitful weekend, as we went on an exploration dive trip to Pulau Abang and Pulau Pangkil with our leisure divers! We love exploring new dive sites around Bintan and Batam, as there’s such a huge potential with many beautiful sites yet to be discovered. Wonderful viz of over 10m with clear blue waters! Despite the monsoon season, currents are very mild in most of the sites we explored. What really amazed us is the beautiful underwater world there, with a significantly different marine life profile compared to the sites we used to frequent. It is a nudibranch heaven everywhere! Healthy and beautiful coral reefs! Spotted many other marine life such as scorpionfish, toadfish, giant cuttlefish, pufferfish amongst many others. We will be exploring Abang and Pangkil again over the next few weekends. Many thanks to all the divers on board Seaborne last weekend. Hope you enjoyed exploring the beautiful dive sites as much as us!
