What a busy weekend of diving we had over this weekend. The local diving in Singapore is getting better, with so many unique sightings. The macro life is amazing and we keep finding new stuff to see. Spider crabs, toad fish, baby seahorses and a massive variety of nudibranchs. We are seeing things that you would only expect to see in places like Manado and Lembeh.
This weekend at Hantu, a local island off Singapore, Francois, Stuart, Jorge and Ramon completed their first 2 dives of the PADI Open Water Course. Both GS-Diving Instructors Gary and Julius were onboard to teach these 4 guys. I also certified Roland and Tyrone as TDI Advanced Nitrox divers too. They have booked for 3 more technical diving courses, starting from April 2015.
With so many divers for the weekend, I had fun driving the speedboat again. 20 divers Saturday morning and afternoon and 16 divers Sunday morning and afternoon. We were busy getting divers in and out of the water and filling tanks, fun, but exhausting. We also had two other dive schools onboard teaching open water courses all weekend too.
Regular scuba diver Ann, was onboard and was happy to dive with PADI Instructor Julius. He has great eyes that can find all sorts of cool stuff for her to shoot. Some of her photos are below.
Cheers, Gary.
Thanks Ann for the use of your photos.
