Trip Report 6 and 7 December 2014

Whilst Karen and I were away with 17 customers diving in Tulamben, Bali the local diving was still happening, with 50 divers spread over the four trips Saturday and Sunday.

Local Diving at HantuAs you can imagine, GS-Diving PADI Instructor Julius and GS-Diving PADI Trainee Dive Master, Julian were busy getting everyone in and out of the water,  briefing, de-briefing and changing tanks.

Only two group photos were taken, but I imagine everyone would have been as happy as these divers.

Local Diving at Hantu SingaporeWith only leisure recreational divers to look after, Julius went in search of the resident seahorse and mimic octopus.

He found the seahorse but sadly the octopus could not be located.

Perhaps it was pretending to be coral or another piece of underwater decoration.

Regulars Chay Hoon and co were onboard Sunday afternoon.  Adrian, a visitor from the UK, really enjoyed the local diving.

Kelvin, a regular diver, was not onboard. I must note that this was the only weekend he has missed in the last 6 months, as it was the weekend his son, Aidan Pung was born.  Not sure that’s a valid excuse though (let’s hope that his wife doesn’t read this post).

Cheers, Gary Savins
