To start the new year, we did two morning dives on Saturday and another two morning dives on Sunday at our local island off Singapore called Hantu.
I was conducting the PADI Open Water Diver Course with Charlotte and Jade. Jade’s father Bob, also joined us as a recreational diver on both days.
Saturday was relaxing as we did a bunch of skills. Viz was ok at 4 metres and down to zero when the skills were being done. However Sunday was the highlight for my newbies. Imagine, on your second day of ever diving, you see a seahorse, a cuttlefish and a huge puffer in great viz of up to 5 metres. Now that does mean that Hantu’s jetty is full of surprises.
Congratulations to Charlotte and Jade in obtaining your PADI Open Water Diver Certifications!
