Sudong Wreck is a steel wreck rumored to be the HMS Goodwill a WW11 frigate sunk by the Japanese. But it looks more like a steel pleasure craft than a frigate.
It is approximately 50 metres long and has a single steel mast. She is lying on her port side and is mostly still intact. The top of the wreck is only 4 metres, the bottom is 15 metres. The wreck is a boating hazard and is right next to a hazard marker buoy just off the coast of Sudong Island.
There is a lot to see at the wreck worthy of two dives, but the current can be strong and it must be dived at slack tide.
The bow makes for a nice photo if the viz is kind on the day.
