Another great weekend diving local Singapore waters.
We had eight divers visiting the new Sisters’ Islands Marine Park with GS-Diving Instructor Julius, GS-Diving PADI DiveMaster Karen and myself. We dived the deep and shallow dive trails, which are well laid out and interesting to follow sprinkled with nudis, sweetlips, sponge coral, featherstars, clams and starfish. The resident turtle was also seen by two divers and was definitely a shadowy surprise. Viz was 4 metres with little to no current. The haze was pleasantly missing and it was easy to see the skyline of Singapore too.
Nineteen divers enjoyed Hantu over the same weekend and saw the usual marine life including three seahorses. Viz was 5 to 6 metres with little to no current as well.
Congratulations to Aidan for completing his PADI Advanced Open Water Course. Carolina and Sophia also joined the ranks of divers by completing their PADI Open Water Course too.
Cheers, Gary Savins
Thanks to Karen Savins for the use of your underwater photos from Sisters’ Islands, and apologies for not getting all the group photos from Hantu.
